# AI Comic Maker vs ComiForge

The clearest difference is ads: AI Comic Maker at none against ComiForge's shown. AI Comic Maker also leads on ratings volume (8 vs 1) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 16.0). ComiForge's advantage is update cadence (every 11 days vs every 5 weeks) and rating (5.0 vs 4.8). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. AI Comic Maker sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per 7 days and ComiForge sells 11 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

ComiForge holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: AI Comic Maker has 8 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

AI Comic Maker ships an update every 5 weeks, ComiForge every 11 days. The most recent releases landed on October 3, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
