# iland vs Retheme

The clearest difference is ads: iland at none against Retheme's shown. iland also leads on update cadence (every 5 days vs every 11 days). Retheme's advantage is rating (4.6 vs 4.3). On price, review sentiment, ratings volume and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. iland sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and Retheme sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Retheme holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.3. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 555 and 1.3K respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 20% of iland's written reviews are positive against 17% of Retheme's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

iland ships an update every 5 days, Retheme every 11 days. The most recent releases landed on November 4, 2026 and November 5, 2026 respectively.
