# PitchSafe vs Teric Baseball

The clearest difference is monetization model: PitchSafe at freemium against Teric Baseball's subscription. PitchSafe also leads on ratings volume (12 vs 2). Teric Baseball's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.7). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. PitchSafe sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $14.99 per month and Teric Baseball sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $29.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Teric Baseball holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: PitchSafe has 12 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

PitchSafe ships an update every 10 days, Teric Baseball every 6 days. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
