# Foxtale vs Mana

The clearest difference is rating: Foxtale at 4.9 against Mana's 4.3. Foxtale also leads on ratings volume (2.6K vs 26) and review sentiment (97% vs 75%). Mana's advantage is ads (none vs shown). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Foxtale sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $8.99 per month and Mana sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Foxtale holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Foxtale has 2.6K ratings behind it against 26, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 97% of Foxtale's written reviews are positive against 75% of Mana's.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
