# eDryv vs Ryde

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Ryde at 100% against eDryv's 40%. Ryde also leads on update cadence (every 9 days vs every 3 weeks). eDryv's advantage is rating (4.8 vs 4.0) and ratings volume (94 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

eDryv holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: eDryv has 94 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 40% of eDryv's written reviews are positive against 100% of Ryde's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

eDryv ships an update every 3 weeks, Ryde every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 29, 2026 respectively.
