# Shift vs Systems

The clearest difference is update cadence: Shift at every 6 days against Systems's every 4 weeks. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Shift sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Systems sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Shift ships an update every 6 days, Systems every 4 weeks. The most recent releases landed on September 27, 2026 and October 3, 2026 respectively.
