# AI Note Taker vs Looma

The clearest difference is rating: AI Note Taker at 4.7 against Looma's 3.7. AI Note Taker also leads on ratings volume (57 vs 6) and update cadence (every 10 days vs every 3 weeks). Looma's advantage is ads (none vs shown). On price, review sentiment, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. AI Note Taker sells 12 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days and Looma sells 12 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

AI Note Taker holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: AI Note Taker has 57 ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 60% of AI Note Taker's written reviews are positive against 67% of Looma's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

AI Note Taker ships an update every 10 days, Looma every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 22, 2026 respectively.
