# AI Note Taker vs FixLog

The clearest difference is ads: FixLog at none against AI Note Taker's shown. FixLog also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and rating (5.0 vs 4.7). AI Note Taker's advantage is ratings volume (56 vs 1). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. AI Note Taker sells 12 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days and FixLog sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

FixLog holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: AI Note Taker has 56 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

AI Note Taker ships an update every 10 days, FixLog every 8 days. The most recent releases landed on October 8, 2026 and October 5, 2026 respectively.
