# Parcae vs Idea Note

The clearest difference is ads: Idea Note at none against Parcae's shown. Parcae's advantage is update cadence (every 2 days vs every 4 months). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Parcae sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days and Idea Note sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Parcae ships an update every 2 days, Idea Note every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on October 9, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
