# HSK vs NOTEA

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: NOTEA at none against HSK's 1. NOTEA also leads on ads (none vs shown). HSK's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs every 3 weeks) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15). On price and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. HSK sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. NOTEA asks for nothing beyond the download.

HSK ships an update weekly, NOTEA every 3 weeks. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
