# Strongsplit vs MatFlow

The clearest difference is update cadence: MatFlow at every 3 days against Strongsplit's fortnightly. Strongsplit's advantage is iOS requirement (17.0 vs 26.5). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Strongsplit sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month and MatFlow sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $17.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Strongsplit ships an update fortnightly, MatFlow every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 19, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
