# Lock In vs ByWhen

The clearest difference is update cadence: ByWhen at every 3 days against Lock In's weekly. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Lock In sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days and ByWhen sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Lock In ships an update weekly, ByWhen every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 13, 2026 and October 5, 2026 respectively.
