# Side Wrench vs Magnet

The clearest difference is update cadence: Magnet at every 4 days against Side Wrench's monthly. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Side Wrench sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and Magnet sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Side Wrench ships an update monthly, Magnet every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and October 4, 2026 respectively.
