# Habit Tracker vs FriendLock

The clearest difference is update cadence: FriendLock at every 5 days against Habit Tracker's every 3 weeks. FriendLock also leads on ratings volume (26 vs 1). Habit Tracker's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.8). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Habit Tracker sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $0.69 per 7 days and FriendLock sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Habit Tracker holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: FriendLock has 26 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.

Habit Tracker ships an update every 3 weeks, FriendLock every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
