# CountX vs Himekuri

The clearest difference is update cadence: Himekuri at every 4 months against CountX's every 10 months. CountX's advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. CountX sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and Himekuri sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

CountX ships an update every 10 months, Himekuri every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
