# FitKit vs CalEye

The clearest difference is update cadence: CalEye at every 2 days against FitKit's every 11 days. FitKit's advantage is iOS requirement (12.0 vs 14.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. FitKit sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and CalEye sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

FitKit ships an update every 11 days, CalEye every 2 days. Both last shipped on October 30, 2026.
