# PicFlick vs TextKeep

The clearest difference is review sentiment: PicFlick at 100% against TextKeep's 58%. PicFlick also leads on monetization model (freemium vs subscription) and rating (4.6 vs 4.3). TextKeep's advantage is update cadence (every 4 days vs fortnightly) and ratings volume (303 vs 37). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. PicFlick sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per 7 days and TextKeep sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $8.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

PicFlick holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: TextKeep has 303 ratings behind it against 37, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 100% of PicFlick's written reviews are positive against 58% of TextKeep's.

PicFlick ships an update fortnightly, TextKeep every 4 days. Both last shipped on October 30, 2026.
