# We The Free App vs STACKHQ

The clearest difference is monetization model: STACKHQ at freemium against We The Free App's subscription. STACKHQ also leads on update cadence (every 3 days vs every 5 weeks) and rating (5.0 vs 4.7). We The Free App's advantage is ratings volume (17 vs 2) and device support (4 vs 2). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. We The Free App sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $8.99 per month and STACKHQ sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

STACKHQ holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: We The Free App has 17 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.

We The Free App ships an update every 5 weeks, STACKHQ every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
