# Trill vs Cresc Flow

The clearest difference is rating: Trill at 4.6 against Cresc Flow's 4.0. Trill also leads on ratings volume (1.8K vs 4) and chart position (#99 vs unranked). Cresc Flow's advantage is review sentiment (50% vs 20%) and update cadence (weekly vs fortnightly). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Trill sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and Cresc Flow sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Trill holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Trill has 1.8K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 20% of Trill's written reviews are positive against 50% of Cresc Flow's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Trill ships an update fortnightly, Cresc Flow weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 28, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
