KidTab

KidTab is a virtual family economy that makes teaching kids about money simple and fun. No real money. No bank accounts. No subscriptions. Just a straightforward way to track allowances, manage chores, and help your kids learn the value of saving. TRACK ALLOWANCES Set a weekly allowance for each child. KidTab pays it out automatically every Friday, so nobody forgets and nobody scrambles for cash. MANAGE CHORES Create chores with rewards attached. When your kid takes out the trash or cleans their room, record it and watch their balance grow. WATCH THEM SAVE Kids can set wishlist goals and track their progress. Saving up for something they want takes patience, and they get to find out that it's worth it. ACTIVITY FEED See every transaction across the family in one place, along with which parent recorded it. FAMILY SYNC New in 2.0. Turn on Family Sync and both parents can use KidTab on their own phones and tablets. One of you creates the family, the other joins with a short invite code, and from then on a chore marked done on one device shows up on the other. Sync is optional. Leave it off and KidTab works exactly as before, with everything on one device. BUILT ON TRUST KidTab keeps a ledger. Your child's balance is always computed from their complete transaction history, on every device, so the number you see is the number that happened. PRIVATE BY DESIGN Until you turn on Family Sync, all data stays on your phone and there is no account to create. With sync on, guardians sign in with Apple or an email address, and your family's data is stored in KidTab's own cloud so your devices can share it. Either way: no ads, no tracking, no analytics, and you can leave a family or delete your account and its data from inside the app. Perfect for parents of school-age kids who want to start building healthy money habits early, without the complexity of real banking apps.
