# TextMyEx vs WPro

The clearest difference is ads: TextMyEx at none against WPro's shown. WPro's advantage is update cadence (every 4 days vs every 4 months) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.1). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. TextMyEx sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $5.00 per 7 days and WPro sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

TextMyEx ships an update every 4 months, WPro every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
