# PouchPal vs Gymr

The clearest difference is update cadence: PouchPal at every 2 days against Gymr's every 5 days. Gymr's advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.6). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. PouchPal sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $1.99 per month and Gymr sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

PouchPal ships an update every 2 days, Gymr every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 12, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
