# Thea vs AI Notebook

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Thea at 93% against AI Notebook's 50%. Thea also leads on rating (4.9 vs 4.3) and ratings volume (2.6K vs 54). AI Notebook's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs monthly). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Thea sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $12.00 per month and AI Notebook sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Thea holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Thea has 2.6K ratings behind it against 54, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 93% of Thea's written reviews are positive against 50% of AI Notebook's.

Thea ships an update monthly, AI Notebook weekly. The most recent releases landed on November 4, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
