# Thea vs Cadet Vector

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Thea at 2.5K against Cadet Vector's 1. Thea also leads on device support (4 vs 2). Cadet Vector's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs monthly). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Thea sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $12.00 per month and Cadet Vector sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Thea against 5.0 for Cadet Vector. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Thea has 2.5K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Thea ships an update monthly, Cadet Vector weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and November 1, 2026 respectively.
