# Easy SSH vs AgenTTY

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Easy SSH at none against AgenTTY's 1. Easy SSH also leads on rating (4.6 vs 4.3) and ratings volume (85 vs 4). AgenTTY's advantage is update cadence (daily vs fortnightly) and review sentiment (100% vs 78%). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. AgenTTY sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Easy SSH asks for nothing beyond the download.

Easy SSH holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Easy SSH has 85 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 78% of Easy SSH's written reviews are positive against 100% of AgenTTY's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Easy SSH ships an update fortnightly, AgenTTY daily. The most recent releases landed on October 8, 2026 and September 25, 2026 respectively.
