# Connect Dots vs Foldlings

The clearest difference is ads: Foldlings at none against Connect Dots's shown. Foldlings also leads on update cadence (every 3 days vs every 5 months) and rating (5.0 vs 4.7). Connect Dots's advantage is ratings volume (7.1K vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 26.0). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Connect Dots sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Foldlings sells 9 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Foldlings holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Connect Dots has 7.1K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Connect Dots ships an update every 5 months, Foldlings every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on November 4, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
