# Fasting Methods vs FAA

The clearest difference is ads: FAA at none against Fasting Methods's shown. Fasting Methods's advantage is update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 8 months). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Fasting Methods sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and FAA sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Fasting Methods ships an update every 3 weeks, FAA every 8 months. The most recent releases landed on September 29, 2026 and October 5, 2026 respectively.
