# Study Quest vs Focus Timer

The clearest difference is update cadence: Focus Timer at every 6 days against Study Quest's every 4 months. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Study Quest sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days and Focus Timer sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $14.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
