# Mad Evolution vs Endless Crafter

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Endless Crafter at none against Mad Evolution's 12. Endless Crafter also leads on review sentiment (56% vs 40%) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). Mad Evolution's advantage is rating (4.2 vs 3.8) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 6 weeks). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Mad Evolution sells 12 one-off in-app purchases. Endless Crafter asks for nothing beyond the download.

Mad Evolution holds the better App Store score, 4.2 against 3.8. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 43 and 11 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 40% of Mad Evolution's written reviews are positive against 56% of Endless Crafter's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Mad Evolution ships an update every 2 weeks, Endless Crafter every 6 weeks. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
