# Eko Vet+ vs VetSOAP

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: VetSOAP at none against Eko Vet+'s 1. VetSOAP also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.8) and iOS requirement (16.4 vs 18.0). Eko Vet+'s advantage is ratings volume (18 vs 1) and chart position (#62 vs unranked). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Eko Vet+ sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $179.99 per year. VetSOAP asks for nothing beyond the download.

VetSOAP holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Eko Vet+ has 18 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.

Eko Vet+ ships an update every 3 weeks, VetSOAP every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 4, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
