# Mist vs Reps IV Lore

The clearest difference is monetization model: Mist at free with in-app purchases against Reps IV Lore's subscription. Mist also leads on ratings volume (575 vs 1). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Mist sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per month and Reps IV Lore sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $5.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Mist against 5.0 for Reps IV Lore. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Mist has 575 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
