# Compose Notes vs DaySince

The clearest difference is update cadence: DaySince at every 3 days against Compose Notes's every 10 months. Compose Notes's advantage is iOS requirement (18.0 vs 26.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Compose Notes sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and DaySince sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Compose Notes ships an update every 10 months, DaySince every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
