# シンプル日記+ vs MODE Notes

シンプル日記+ and MODE Notes are too close to call on the numbers: across 6 compared parameters — price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases among them — neither pulls far enough ahead to decide it. What separates them is feature set and interface, not measurable difference.

Both are free to download. シンプル日記+ sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and MODE Notes sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

シンプル日記+ ships an update every 6 months, MODE Notes every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 20, 2026 respectively.
