# Walk vs PuttPuttPro

The clearest difference is rating: PuttPuttPro at 5.0 against Walk's 3.8. Walk's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 6 days vs every 2 months). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Walk sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $19.99 per year and PuttPuttPro sells 8 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

PuttPuttPro holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Walk has 28 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Walk ships an update every 6 days, PuttPuttPro every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
