# AviATC vs Faiz

The clearest difference is rating: Faiz at 5.0 against AviATC's 4.3. Faiz also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 3) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 18.2). AviATC's advantage is ratings volume (63 vs 1) and update cadence (every 5 days vs every 3 weeks). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. AviATC sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per month. Faiz asks for nothing beyond the download.

Faiz holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: AviATC has 63 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

AviATC ships an update every 5 days, Faiz every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 23, 2026 respectively.
