# IPTV Smarters Player vs Texly

The clearest difference is monetization model: Texly at free with in-app purchases against IPTV Smarters Player's subscription. Texly also leads on update cadence (every 3 days vs every 6 weeks). IPTV Smarters Player's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (37 vs 1). On price, rating, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. IPTV Smarters Player sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and Texly sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for IPTV Smarters Player against 5.0 for Texly. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: IPTV Smarters Player has 37 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
