# Miyu vs Focus Buddy

The clearest difference is update cadence: Miyu at weekly against Focus Buddy's monthly. Focus Buddy's advantage is iOS requirement (16 vs 18.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Miyu sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and Focus Buddy sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Miyu ships an update weekly, Focus Buddy monthly. The most recent releases landed on September 24, 2026 and September 20, 2026 respectively.
