# Miyu vs RapidNote

The clearest difference is monetization model: Miyu at free with in-app purchases against RapidNote's subscription. RapidNote's advantage is update cadence (every 3 days vs weekly) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 18.0). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Miyu sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and RapidNote sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Miyu ships an update weekly, RapidNote every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on September 24, 2026 and September 30, 2026 respectively.
