# Fathom AI vs E

The clearest difference is review sentiment: E at 59% against Fathom AI's 20%. Fathom AI's advantage is rating (4.3 vs 4.0). On price, ratings volume, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Fathom AI sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days and E sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Fathom AI holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 4.0. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 60 and 84 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 20% of Fathom AI's written reviews are positive against 59% of E's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
