# NextChat AI vs ForgeGo

The clearest difference is update cadence: ForgeGo at weekly against NextChat AI's fortnightly. ForgeGo also leads on device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.3). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. NextChat AI sells 2 one-off in-app purchases and ForgeGo sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

NextChat AI ships an update fortnightly, ForgeGo weekly. The most recent releases landed on September 24, 2026 and October 11, 2026 respectively.
