# HyperRef vs Art Reference Board

The clearest difference is update cadence: Art Reference Board at every 2 days against HyperRef's every 2 months. HyperRef's advantage is iOS requirement (18.6 vs 26.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. HyperRef sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Art Reference Board sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
