# 元仔 vs MoMood

元仔 and MoMood both sit at 4.9 stars, but that hides the real split: 89% of MoMood's written reviews are positive against 61% of 元仔's. MoMood also leads on update cadence (every 4 days vs every 10 days). On price, rating, ratings volume and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. 元仔 sells 20 one-off in-app purchases and MoMood sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

元仔 holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.7. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 95 and 53 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 61% of 元仔's written reviews are positive against 89% of MoMood's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

元仔 ships an update every 10 days, MoMood every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
