# 元仔 vs Takuku

元仔 and Takuku both sit at 4.9 stars, but that hides the real split: 97% of Takuku's written reviews are positive against 61% of 元仔's. 元仔's advantage is ratings volume (95 vs 12). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. 元仔 sells 10 one-off in-app purchases and Takuku sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

元仔 holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: 元仔 has 95 ratings behind it against 12, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 61% of 元仔's written reviews are positive against 97% of Takuku's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

元仔 ships an update every 10 days, Takuku every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on November 4, 2026 and November 7, 2026 respectively.
