# PlantEra vs みどり手帳

The clearest difference is ads: PlantEra at none against みどり手帳's shown. みどり手帳's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs monthly). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. PlantEra sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and みどり手帳 sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

PlantEra ships an update monthly, みどり手帳 weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 6, 2026 respectively.
