# Teleprompter vs Teleprompter For Video

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Teleprompter at 67% against Teleprompter For Video's 15%. Teleprompter For Video's advantage is rating (4.5 vs 4.0) and ratings volume (48 vs 4). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Teleprompter sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and Teleprompter For Video sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Teleprompter For Video holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Teleprompter For Video has 48 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 67% of Teleprompter's written reviews are positive against 15% of Teleprompter For Video's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Teleprompter ships an update every 2 weeks, Teleprompter For Video weekly. The most recent releases landed on September 27, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
