# Idle Sword Master vs Idle Block Miner

The clearest difference is update cadence: Idle Block Miner at weekly against Idle Sword Master's every 4 weeks. Idle Block Miner also leads on review sentiment (30% vs 22%). Idle Sword Master's advantage is chart position (#194 vs unranked) and ratings volume (2.4K vs 332). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Idle Sword Master sells 28 one-off in-app purchases and Idle Block Miner sells 16 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Idle Sword Master holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Idle Sword Master has 2.4K ratings behind it against 332, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 22% of Idle Sword Master's written reviews are positive against 30% of Idle Block Miner's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Idle Sword Master ships an update every 4 weeks, Idle Block Miner weekly. Both last shipped on October 28, 2026.
