# Daynote vs Diary with Password

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Diary with Password at none against Daynote's 8. Diary with Password also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.8) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 16.0). Daynote's advantage is ratings volume (548 vs 6). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Daynote sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days. Diary with Password asks for nothing beyond the download.

Diary with Password holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Daynote has 548 ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two.
