# Daynote vs Outfit Planner

The clearest difference is ads: Outfit Planner at none against Daynote's shown. Daynote's advantage is update cadence (every 3 days vs every 4 months) and iOS requirement (16.0 vs 18.2). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Daynote sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days and Outfit Planner sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Daynote ships an update every 3 days, Outfit Planner every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on November 8, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
