# Daynote vs PICNIGO

The clearest difference is ads: PICNIGO at none against Daynote's shown. Daynote's advantage is update cadence (every 4 days vs fortnightly). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Daynote sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days and PICNIGO sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Daynote ships an update every 4 days, PICNIGO fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 19, 2026 and October 9, 2026 respectively.
