# Basque vs Eppika

The clearest difference is rating: Eppika at 4.8 against Basque's 4.0. Eppika also leads on ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (1.7K vs 1). Basque's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 68%). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Basque sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month and Eppika sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $19.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Eppika holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Eppika has 1.7K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of Basque's written reviews are positive against 68% of Eppika's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Basque ships an update every 3 weeks, Eppika every 6 days. The most recent releases landed on October 18, 2026 and October 20, 2026 respectively.
